Probably my favourite show of the bunch, although it's almost not possible to pick a favourite as I was impressed by most of them, really. Once again I collected some of the looks that stood out for me here. Timeless elegance from Chanel, fantastic prints and layers from Giambattista Valli, contrasts from Dior.. In terms of originality I have to hand it to Viktor & Rolf, though, (as usual) for their "Wearable Art" collection which I thought was clever as well as incredibly beautiful.

My favourite full collection has to be by Dries Van Noten. Even though you rarely see me wear prints and this collection is actually full of those, the colours mixed are just gorgeous and I'm very inspired by the oversized looks that still manage to show a waist. I might try this a little more often myself to breathe some new life into my endless loose fit ensembles. We see great styling and interesting details at Ann Demeulemeester, Balenciaga and Chanel and gorgeous and classic minimalism can, of course, be found at Céline, Stella McCartney and Hermès. Also, I wish for the entire Ellery collection to somehow make its way into my wardrobe, thanks.

Haute Couture Fall 2014

Just some favourites I picked out from the latest Haute Couture collections. Collections that always tend to make me wish I was either Cate Blanchett or just impossibly chic. For Fall 2014 I spotted some red carpet gowns I'll be keeping in mind for my Awards Season Red Carpet wishlists, but besides the glamour some more wearable designs caught my eye as well, most notably from Christian Dior. The maxi coats worn over long loose fit trousers are right up my street - and effortlessly elegant.
