These are some of my favourite looks from the Milan and Paris Fall 2016 collections! Marni, once again, stood out for me from the Milan shows by showing fantastic colour blocking and interesting shapes. Stella McCartney, Dries Van Noten and Nina Ricci were probably my favourite overall collections from Paris, but Valentino's yellow velvet dress pretty much even topped all of those, I absolutely adore it.

Like a kid in a candy store I've been once again trying to pick my favourite looks from the Haute Couture Spring 2016 fashion shows which were presented in Paris earlier this week. Imagining myself being sophisticated enough to pull off a Chanel Couture, dreaming of attending the Oscars in a Valentino (those loose shapes and yummy textures!) and wondering if I would have enough glamour in me to ever rock one of those Elie Saab "Indian princess" looks..?

My favourites from Paris Fashion Week Spring 2016. Too many different styles to even mention, I guess! These collections are the ones that will inspire me on all sorts of levels come springtime. But, as you can maybe tell by the selection above, I am particularly interested in adding a bit more romance and possibly even some colour or a floral print to my wardrobe in the new Spring season.

There's such an incredible amount of time and work that goes into making a collection like this and then presenting it to the world, and seeing this makes me realise and appreciate it all the more. All the little details, from the actual clothing to the stage setup, are thought out into perfection. There are so many looks from this Haute Couture collection I personally just love as well. I already showed you some of my favourites here but I never mentioned that wedding dress suit yet, so can we please talk about this for a second? Doesn't it just blow your mind? Even if it's just for Julianne Moore this video is worth watching, btw, she's stunning. And, well, now you may as well check out the fantastic 'Making Of' video and the video of the full show in HD (below), while you're at it. Love.
