Interior inspiration

Interior Inspiration 1 Interior Inspiration 2 Interior Inspiration 3Pretty much all that is on my mind these days! I can't say I'm into a particular style when it comes to interiors - I like to mix it up a little - but I definitely need my place to feel homey. So, yes to plants, flowers, books and big rugs! And no to anything too clean, white, shiny or modern.

What I'm reading this summer

Books fash-n-chips.comAs you can see, I don't really stick to one particular genre when it comes to reading! Here are just a few of the books I am reading (or in some cases rereading) this summer: Human Universe - by Brian Cox and Andrew Cohen Us - by David Nicholls Le Petit Princeby Antoine De Saint-Exupery The Life and Loves of a He Devil: A Memoir - by Graham Norton Then Again - by Diane Keaton

I actually reread books a lot and find that often I enjoy a book even more a second or third time around. I also often read several books at the same time - and then pretend that my brain is not at all confused by that. If any of you happen to have any more book recommendations for me then please share, I'd be happy to hear them!

Dior and I

05zDIOR2-superJumbo-1050x700I finally got to see Frédéric Tcheng’s 'Dior and I' here in the Netherlands this week and I can say it definitely lived up to my (pretty high) expectations. As I mentioned before it's about Raf Simons’ first haute couture collection as the new artistic director for Christian Dior, back in 2012. And a behind-the-scenes look of the making of ány couture show is exciting to me anyway. But what made this film truly magnificent in my eyes is that, in addition to that, you're álso getting to know the people behind the collection and the emotions that come with that kind of process. It's exciting to watch how this team managed to work together on something so amazing in such a ridiculously short amount of time. All in all, I highly recommend seeing it. credit:
