Too cool for school

Ironically, ever since I finished school (obviously a lifetime ago!) I've absolutely loved that "back to school" feeling that always comes over me around this time of the year. September always seems to be a busy and eventful month. Lots of work mixed with gorgeous late summer weather, a hint of autumn already in the air, and the start of a new series of fashion weeks. I say 'bring it on'. It's kind of like going back to school, but really.. it's so much better.

The tourist

I just got back from playing tourist in Berlin for a few days. I biked a lot, walked a lot and also snapped away with my camera and GoPro (as pictured here) a lot - both of which you'll find the results on my blog probably later this week. Now first, back to work.

From Italy

I just got back from a week of holiday in Italy and had an absolute great time. Before I show you some snaps I shot throughout my stay I thought I'd share one of my outfits that I wore on a day with temperatures around 35 degrees Celcius. These are temperatures way higher than what I'm used to and my wardrobe is not really prepared for days like that. However, a recent new design of mine, this navy cotton summer dress, appeared to be just perfect for this kind of hot summer weather. The wide fit I originally thought would be great to cover up my pizza-filled tummy, but, in addition to doing that, it turned out to be just perfectly breezy as well. The black visor btw is a favourite this summer, I've been wearing it almost non-stop.

Suddenly (and finally) it's full on spring (with summer temperatures) and I find myself strolling around in casual cool ensembles with nothing on my feet anymore but slides. These white ones from H&M are not the most comfortable ones I own at the moment but I love how sleek they look. Perfect to pair with my new wide cuffed boyfriend jeans.
