Sometimes when you're not even looking for it you can come across that perfect item that you feel was always missing from your wardrobe. To me this happened when I recently stumbled upon this Little Black Dress at COS. With its perfect knee-length (and slightly longer at the back), its shiny viscose material, the elbow-length sleeves and the overall loose fit it is everything I want from a classic dress and I will be wearing it on many casual as well as formal occasions, I'm sure.

From Italy
(dress designed by me, Adidas slides, Céline bag, V&D visor and Ray-Ban sunglasses)
I just got back from a week of holiday in Italy and had an absolute great time. Before I show you some snaps I shot throughout my stay I thought I'd share one of my outfits that I wore on a day with temperatures around 35 degrees Celcius. These are temperatures way higher than what I'm used to and my wardrobe is not really prepared for days like that. However, a recent new design of mine, this navy cotton summer dress, appeared to be just perfect for this kind of hot summer weather. The wide fit I originally thought would be great to cover up my pizza-filled tummy, but, in addition to doing that, it turned out to be just perfectly breezy as well. The black visor btw is a favourite this summer, I've been wearing it almost non-stop.
December '13
Hope you've all had a lovely and peaceful Christmas!? I know the month is not over yet but so far this one must have been my favourite of 2013 - although, to be fair, December is pretty much my favourite month of any year. This year I made sure I finished all my work on time so that after I came back from London I could have some proper days of (well deserved, imo) laziness as well. This free time I spent having a LOTR marathon and catching up on series and sleep and I've enjoyed every minute of it.
