From Italy

(dress designed by me, Adidas slides, Céline bag, V&D visor and Ray-Ban sunglasses)

I just got back from a week of holiday in Italy and had an absolute great time. Before I show you some snaps I shot throughout my stay I thought I'd share one of my outfits that I wore on a day with temperatures around 35 degrees Celcius. These are temperatures way higher than what I'm used to and my wardrobe is not really prepared for days like that. However, a recent new design of mine, this navy cotton summer dress, appeared to be just perfect for this kind of hot summer weather. The wide fit I originally thought would be great to cover up my pizza-filled tummy, but, in addition to doing that, it turned out to be just perfectly breezy as well. The black visor btw is a favourite this summer, I've been wearing it almost non-stop.

Slides

After spending a whole summer season in Adidas 'Adilette' pool slides I seem to have come to the conclusion that this year one needs to have slides in all black and all white as well as black&white and also it can't hurt if they're crossed as this makes them just a little bit more elegant. And yes, I realise 'elegant' is hardly the word to use when talking about this kind of footwear. But I don't care, they're beyond comfortable and I love them. Slides on the picture from left to right: Birkenstock 'Arizona' sandals, H&M white leather slides, Adidas 'Adilette' pool slides and H&M sandals.
