Now, to be honest, I don't really believe in trends and must-haves as I think the best personal styles are not made up of that per se. So I'm not going to give you a list of trends or things that I think you really "should have" but instead I'm going to name a few things I personally need or want for spring. Not even just for this spring in particular as a lot of it goes for every spring season that comes along really.

1. Sunglasses. I wear them all the time, all year long - and especially in the early bright days of spring they're an absolute must-have for me. My favourites are still my black round Ray-Ban wayfarers. They're absolute classics. 2. Sneakers. I got my Adidas 'Gazelle' sneakers a year ago and my white Superga sneakers later that summer and I wouldn't mind finding another pair that goes as perfect with all my outfits as these 2 pairs do. But if I don't find it I'll just continue on wearing these for another season. 3. Cropped jeans. These slightly bootcut jeans from Weekday (as seen on Tine Andrea) are the absolute perfect fit. 4. A white tee and white shirt. Just because they're easy to combine with any kind of outfit. 5. Fun plans and activities to keep the mind occupied. I know it sounds crazy to most people but I don't really like spring and how it makes me feel. For a bunch of reasons, including my health, I usually can't wait for this season to be over. And so if work alone isn't doing the trick for me I try to schedule in some extra fun activities or little trips to keep me busy. 6. A hat or cap. I always bring a hat or a cap with me on bright days. Most of the time it will just be a simple black or white baseball cap but this pinstripe one from ASOS has now found its way on to my wishlist as well. 7. My bike. 8. An in-between coat like this classic midi length MAC from ASOS. 9. Sunscreen. I wear sunscreen on my face all day and all year - or any time my allergy sensitive skin lets me. It's so important, especially in spring and summer! 10. I am really not a gym person but, when the weather lets me, I do enjoy kicking a football, jumping around on music like a crazy person with a jumping rope or playing with a hula-hoop. You know, basically just anything that makes me exercise without it looking or feeling like exercise.

Hermès Spring 2015

Another favourite from Paris Fashion Week Spring 2015 is Hermès by designer Christophe Lemaire. His last collection for the house (as he's leaving to focus on his own label) I think is pretty flawless. Love the simplicity of these looks, the perfect draping on those tops and, of course, the colour palette of mostly neutrals and some dark richer tones. I would wear all of these!

Dries Van Noten Spring 2015

Obviously I'm not really a prints person at all, but Dries Van Noten usually has a way of making me believe that I am. The latest Spring 2015 collection, presented in Paris this week, once again includes print combinations that could easily have clashed - but don't because of the rich looking fabrics and easy on the eyes jewel tones. A hint of autumn in springtime? Yes, please.

Jil Sander Spring 2015

Milan Fashion Week has already ended again and I still have to catch up on most collections but one that already caught my eye is Jil Sander's Spring 2015 collection designed by the new man in charge there; Rodolfo Paglialunga. He's come up with a preppy line of polos, sweatshirts, bermudas and wrapped skirts that I can easily imagine being translated into my own wardrobe in some way.
