Velvet

Taking the "pyjama trend" to a whole new level with this cosy pair of burgundy velvet trousers. And I don't really care that they're probably more suitable for the Holiday season instead of January because I'm having a hard enough time as it is, leaving December behind! Also, I wish I could say that I've started the year with a fresh new hairdo but unfortunately I simply can't find the time to go and have a haircut so (obviously) lazy ponytails and messy buns will have to do for a little while longer. Not that anyone has come to expect anything else from me, I'm sure!

Just another little outfit picture taken on a random afternoon last week in between appointments. The oversized woolen Topshop Boutique blazer is still a favourite! - On my way to London now to hopefully soak up some (more) Christmas magic and craziness!

Black coat

I took out one of my favourite coats from last year again this week and, as it turns out, it's still one of the best coats I own. Love its length and the confidence I feel when I wear it.  A lot of you have been asking me how tall I am and I can imagine you wanting to know if you're trying to imagine how, for example, a coat like this would look on yourself - so just FIY: I am 1.65m tall. Or short.

Comfy chic

I feel that with a good coat you can instantly take a casual comfy look to one that's actually chic. And I think this particular coat, because of its fabric and colour, is perfect for that. I wear it with flats, as seen here, with sneakers (seen here), heels and boots and it works equally great with all of those options. Still looking for that perfect coat?
