Velvet

(H&M Trend jacket, Zara top, vintage velvet trousers, Céline bag, Johnstons scarf and Ray-Ban sunglasses)

Taking the "pyjama trend" to a whole new level with this cosy pair of burgundy velvet trousers. And I don't really care that they're probably more suitable for the Holiday season instead of January because I'm having a hard enough time as it is, leaving December behind! Also, I wish I could say that I've started the year with a fresh new hairdo but unfortunately I simply can't find the time to go and have a haircut so (obviously) lazy ponytails and messy buns will have to do for a little while longer. Not that anyone has come to expect anything else from me, I'm sure!

Céline Trapeze

(COS coat, T by Alexander Wang t-shirt, Citizens of Humanity jeans, Zara shoes, Céline bag, Michael Kors watch and Karen Walker sunglasses

Thought it was about time I showed off my Céline Trapeze bag to the world!!! I had no intention on buying anything when I stepped into the Céline boutique in Paris earlier this month, but when they showed me this Trapeze bag in the exact colours I'd been hoping to find someday I knew I couldn't leave it behind.

As much as I am a fan of beautiful bags it's actually taken me years to decide what bag I should next invest in. I'd hate going for a certain bag just because it was a bit of a hype in the fashion blogosphere and so I've waited a few seasons to see if I'd still be as in love with this bag as I was the first time I saw it. And tadaa.. I am. At first I thought it would be a little too fancy for me as obviously I tend to dress quite messy.. but now I realise it only really takes a bag like this to take a look from messy to DRESSY!
