Converse Chuck II

Converse All Star Chuck II fash-n-chips.comAs a longtime fan of the original Converse All Stars I, of course, had to give the new version of these classic shoes (the Chuck II) a try as well! While the originals took a long time to get worn in, these new ones are instantly comfortable because of the added cushioning and I definitely think that's the biggest plus about these shoes. The design got a nice update as well, not too different from the original and so they are still easy to wear with any kind of outfit. They absolutely get a big thumbs up from me. image for Fash n Chips (shoes via JD Sports) [show_shopthepost_widget id="1094802"]

New Chucks

My classic off-white Converse sneakers have long been a favourite pair of mine but I recently felt like adding an extra colour to my sneakers collection. These grey Chucks seem about as versatile as the old pair, though. I got them from JD Sports.

Hope everyone's having a fabulous weekend?! My MacBook crashed a few days ago which made me panic at first but then relax because it'll get fixed within a few days (I hope!) and meanwhile it gives me a great reason to sit back for a bit, relax and watch an overload of football. (Oh this World Cup.. what an absolute brilliant start to it we had last night!) - It just means I'll probably be behind on my planned posts for a little over the next week or two but I'll try to not make you notice.

At The British Museum

(Zara top, H&M Trend trousers, Converse sneakers, Céline bag and Michael Kors watch)

An all black outfit is usually what I go for when I don't know what else to wear anymore. Or when I need to feel safe, comfortable or even invisible. But in the bright hall of The British Museum this all black look actually made me stand out a little. Quite the contrast!
