Another Resort 2016 favourite of mine is the latest Balenciaga collection by Alexander Wang. The silk and cotton jacquard jackets actually make me like peplums again and the trouser suits all look equally stunning and wearable in my eyes. The overall collection just has a very clean and yet romantic feel to it - something, I guess, I wouldn't mind being able to say about my own wardrobe.

After having pretty much worn out my black pair of Adidas 'Gazelles' over the past year - but realising these sneakers are still by far the most comfortable ánd the most versatile shoes in my collection - I recently got myself this new pair in a nice khaki green. Clearly I'm not ready to move on from this style just yet. Viva la Gazelles!

I finally got to see Frédéric Tcheng’s 'Dior and I' here in the Netherlands this week and I can say it definitely lived up to my (pretty high) expectations. As I mentioned before it's about Raf Simons’ first haute couture collection as the new artistic director for Christian Dior, back in 2012. And a behind-the-scenes look of the making of ány couture show is exciting to me anyway. But what made this film truly magnificent in my eyes is that, in addition to that, you're álso getting to know the people behind the collection and the emotions that come with that kind of process. It's exciting to watch how this team managed to work together on something so amazing in such a ridiculously short amount of time. All in all, I highly recommend seeing it.
