Ton sur ton

(COS sweater and scarf, Zara trousers and shoes, Acne bag, Michael Kors watch, Feather & Stone ring and Ray-Ban sunglasses

So it should be obvious by now how much I love wearing grey! This comfy ton sur ton ensemble was screaming for a different colour to break it up a little though and so I figured my gold velvet clutch was the perfect item to do so. - Happy weekend everyone!

A grey area

(COS coat, Acne sweater, Gina Tricot boyfriend jeans, Converse sneakers, Mulberry bag and Karen Walker sunglasses

On my wishlist for this season I had a dark coloured winter coat and/or a pink one. But then I ran into this one at COS, tried it on and knew I couldn't leave it behind. Love the length, the drop shoulder and the beautiful soft grey colour. I am a bit of a sucker for grey and don't think I really needed another grey item in my wardrobe really, but who cares - there are no rules for this.

From PFW (1)

After a few seasons of snapping streetstyle pictures at fashion weeks I've become incredibly picky with it. I try to catch the looks that really inspire or impress me but that hardly ever means I go for the most striking looks. Honestly, this PFW I found myself bored by the more extravagant looks as well as a little annoyed by the lack of actual personal styles. I saw this girl outside the Vanessa Bruno show (if I remember correctly) who I thought looked fab and asked if I could take her picture and she asked me "why??" - turned out she had no idea fashion week was going on and what I would possibly need her picture for. It made me smile because there I am at PFW and who do I end up getting my inspiration from? Effortlessly dressed people who don't even know about fashion week. Ironic because it's these fashion weeks that actually usually make it possible for us bloggers and photographers to snap pictures of people we think look good without them thinking it's a weird thing. It's become such a big part of fashion week. So anyway, here's a bunch of pictures of people and details I thought were "snapworthy" and there's still more to come..

A weekend look

(Topshop trenchcoat, Topshop shirt, Zara wide leg jeans, Mulberry bag and Ray-Ban sunglasses

A very typical weekend outfit.. Jeans, trench and a big bag to carry around all my stuff in. Just slightly more dressy than the sweatpants I tend to walk around in the rest of the weekend. Admittedly, this pic was snapped over a week ago when the weather wasn't as cold yet - by now I've actually swapped this trench for a winter coat!
