Flared

Flared trousers are about the only hint of 1970s you'll ever get to see from me. Most of the 70s trends and styles really do not work for me but I definitely love a good flare. Mostly because they just simply make my legs seem a tad longer - could I be more obvious?

Casually black

Black layers May 2015 fash-n-chips.comH&M Studio blazer, COS dress, AG jeans, Adidas sneakers, COS bag, Triwa watch and Ray-Ban sunglasses This is definitely the kind of outfit you're most likely to see me in on an average day. Black, somewhat layered and just utterly casual. I might put on a heeled sandal with it every now and then, if I feel like it, but most of the time I tend to go for sneakers instead.

February freshness

Although I personally much prefer dark cold winter days over these bright early spring kind of moments I'm trying to find ways to enjoy them a bit more as well. As I may have mentioned before, light is always a bit of an issue for me. So, I'm not just wearing sunglasses and hats because I think they're pretty cute but also 'cause I think they're pretty necessary.

Hello, October!

(H&M Studio blazer, Topshop top, AG Jeans jeans, Birkenstock sandals, Samantha Wills necklace and Ray-Ban sunglasses)

As much fun as I think it is, transitioning from summer into autumn can be quite tricky. Early in the morning it can be chilly and you may feel like throwing on a zillion and one layers, while later in the day this can seriously make you question your sanity as you're sweating your bum off in the warm autumn sun. It hasn't been cold enough to wear a winter coat yet but I would think that a woolen blazer at the end of september is a perfect in between solution. Not last Sunday though. It was still so warm! I decided to loosely hang the blazer over my shoulders because this casual weekend outfit simply would have been too dull without it.
