I recently wore this black Ganni velvet dress with Ganni leggings and Tamara Mellon shoes to my mum's Birthday party and I have to say this is by far the most comfortable 'party look' I've ever worn. I love how velvet can make any outfit look more festive. Wish I had the full look to show you already.. but hopefully some other time.

Dressed for the cold

Temperatures have finally dropped and I've started wearing socks again, at last. And, same as last Winter, I'm now dressed like this a lot: in a big coat, beanie hat and comfy footwear. - Happy first weekend of December, everyone!

November '14
I don't know why Autumn always seems to be SO much shorter than other seasons. Can't believe how fast it's going by, and this month in particular. I know I say this all the time, though. And I guess by looking back over a month, the way I do with posts like these, it makes time seem to fly by even faster. Anyway, bring on December and let's make it a great one!

Faux fur stole

A few weeks ago I fell "accidentally in love" with this stole. One of those things I did not know I needed in my wardrobe until I added it and ended up wearing it daily. It is so soft and comfy and in all these weeks of feeling sick and in pain it's really become my favourite item to throw on with any outfit - even my pyjamas. Or, in this case, culottes and a simple cashmere sweater. It tends to give everything an instant little touch of "diva" as well, which I (surprisingly) quite like.

In a comment on my "Fash n Chips turns FOUR" post earlier this week Gry mentioned how she loved that I'm not afraid to re-use my favourite pieces. It's almost weird to think that for some bloggers this is not a common thing, right? Anyway, in this post I'm once again wearing my Adidas 'Gazelle' sneakers, loose fit jeans and that cosy wrap coat from Ganni. Oh and when WILL I have to start wearing socks again?
