Casual

(Topshop Boutique coat, Hush boyfriend jeans, Sperry Top-Sider boat shoes, COS t-shirt and Ray-Ban sunglasses)

As a kid I spent quite a few holidays on and near the water and the outfits that went with that have always been among my favourites: jeans, striped tees, cotton sweatshirts and, of course, boat shoes! This weekend, like I said, I spent a few days at the seaside again and although there was no sailing involved I happily wore my boat shoes anyway. These are beyond comfy and make for a nice change from my usual sneakers.

Cherry Blossom Season

The cherry blossom trees are blooming about a month too early this year but aren't they just stunning? I'm spending a few days at the seaside now, attempting to relax a little and catch up on sleep. Have a lovely weekend everyone!

Turnover

(COS coat, Turnover reversible jacket, Olive t-shirt and boyfriend jeans, Zara shoes, ASOS leather backpack and Ray-Ban sunglasses)

Underneath my trusty warm COS coat I'm wearing my new Spring jacket from Turnover, a brand that has never spiked my interest before until this season! Not only do most items in the Spring 2014 collection look very comfy cool and wearable, I really appreciate that some of the items are designed to be reversible! Like this Chanel inspired jacket. I paired it with black washed denim boyfriend jeans and my (still) favourite pair of Zara heels.

The oversized knit

(Maison Martin Margiela x H&M sweater, COS jeans, Zara shoes and XXL scarf, Céline bag and Ray-Ban sunglasses)

And without ever actually having any kind of winter this year we seem to be heading straight into springtime again. Stepping out without a coat on and all that. But for this "in between seasons" weather a big cosy knit instead of a coat I think is the perfect way to go.
