NYFW Spring 2016
My favourite collections from New York's Spring 2016 fashion week - at first sight. Tibi surprisingly manages to make me like sequins, Calvin Klein Collection takes us back to the 90's and those sexy silky slip-dresses, while Delpozo once again blows my mind with its romanticism and otherworldly silhouettes. Jason Wu at Boss makes loose-fits still seem sophisticated, which is something I'm always aiming for myself, and Victoria Beckham's collection, in her words, is "about attitude and just making things fresh and carefree" - bet it suits her feelings about her place in the fashion world. ('cause I doubt anyone was still trying, but she really can not be ignored!) The Tome collection is made out of possibly my favourite colour palette (including khaki, navy, white and black) and I am loving the slouchy layered looks that still manage to look so feminine. Narciso Rodriguez shows us clean and cool, while Rosetta Getty's collection, inspired by postmodern dance, is a little more fluid. The 3.1 Phillip Lim collection consists of interesting lengths, layers and details I will definitely be keeping in mind for when I'm trying to un-dull my outfits next spring. Riccardo Tisci is celebrating his tenth year at Givenchy and for this he revisited ideas he's been working on throughout those years and clearly these still are just as impressive. Proenza Schouler's collection is giving us frills that I, quite surprisingly, actually adore. And Peter Copping's collection for Oscar de la Renta, as usual, makes me dream of perhaps someday being sort of a.. princess?

3.1 Phillip Lim Pre-Fall 2015
The 3.1 Phillip Lim Pre-Fall 2015 collection has some really great looks in it. The overall feel is sort of easygoing chic but there's some really interesting detailing to be found, particularly the folding and fringing. A favourite look has to be the white top and navy skirt combo. credit: style.com
Fujiyama
Ray-Ban 'Ice Pop Wayfarer' sunglasses, Acne Studios 'Pop Betty' boyfriend jeans, Topshop oversized casual stripe shirt, Isabel Marant Étoile 'Kony Fujiyama' sweatshirt, Kevyn Aucoin The Eye Shadow Duo no. 206, Sophie Bille Brahe 'Lisa Petite' knuckle ring, Sophie Bille Brahe 'Lisa Grande' ring, 3.1 Phillip Lim 'Devon' leather d'Orsay flats and Saint Laurent 'Betty 2' medium bag
My NYFW S/S 2014 picks
This season it's taken me a little longer to get through all the collections for Spring/Summer 2014 and I thought it was about time I showed you some of my favourite looks. So this is by no means a complete trend guide but it's the styles that most appeal to me and that I hope to be sporting myself come spring. First up: New York Fashion Week. My favourite collections from this fashion week have to be from Theyskens' Theory, Victoria Beckham, The Row and Derek Lam. Again, I'm going for lots of loose fits and very little popping colours. The new trouser length (as seen in Victoria Beckham's look) is one I'll definitely be trying out even though I'm not sure yet it will suit my short legs. Also, that powdery pink Reed Krakoff suit is one I wouldn't mind living in all spring season!
