Just a few impressions from a fantastic week I spent in the Lake District, UK, this summer! This place had been high on my wish-to-visit list for a very long time and it did not disappoint in any way. With a beautiful cosy cottage as our home for the week, we got to tour around the Lakes in a rented car and it was absolutely magnificent.

For a series called Storie di Stile, sponsored by Italian beer brand Peroni, I have been asked a while ago to highlight a few of my favourite spots in Rotterdam, and also to try and find a bit of Italy in this fabulous city in the Netherlands. So, as for the Italy bit, me and my brother found this exclusive men's fashion store, Porto di Lusso, which is located just a tad outside of the city centre. The fantastic old building now has a clean, classic and calming interior that suits their "passion for luxury" and the beautiful Italian menswear collections that they present. Love how this maxi dress could easily work as a look from-day-to-night. I would wear it with slides or sneakers for a casual daytime look and switch to heels to make it more dressy for an evening out.

I actually reread books a lot and find that often I enjoy a book even more a second or third time around. I also often read several books at the same time - and then pretend that my brain is not at all confused by that.
