April '14

April has sped by and it's been pretty amazing. Besides fun times with friends and family I've been working hard on a project that has very little to do with my blog (and so I probably won't be sharing anything about it on here either) BUT I just felt like explaining why things are a little quiet around here sometimes. (But you may not even have noticed?) Anyway, I hope you've all had a great month as well - I guess summer is just around the corner now! ;)

Without a doubt my favourite pair of shoes at the moment. Love how it completes all my monochrome outfits - a look I tend to go for a lot these days.

As the evenings are getting longer and we're starting to think of summer a little bit more each day, temperatures are really not there yet, not by far. Even dressed in a ton of (in this case, oversized) layers it's still barely warm enough these days. I'm crazy about my winter coats, of course, but I definitely wouldn't mind being able to snap a few easy outfit shots for a change. And by easy I mean: on a day with no wind and with temperatures warm enough to at least ditch the coat for a little while. But let's be patient.
