Manchester — Fash n Chips — Christine Reehorst

Again, as with my London diary a few weeks ago, this one exists mostly of phone snaps. But it does give a nice little impression of what it's like to join me on a short visit to the lovely city that is Manchester and to stay at The Lowry Hotel; a gorgeous five-star contemporary hotel where Salford meets Manchester on the banks of the River Irwell. The peace and quiet and an insanely spacious river view room were what made me enjoy this hotel the most but the friendly staff and yummy breakfast definitely helped as well. I had not been in Manchester anymore since 2007 but I have amazing memories of the times I have spent there before and so I guess you could say I'm a fan. Now, if you're ever thinking of going there as well, consider staying at The Lowry Hotel - you won't be disappointed!
