With its simple yet tasteful interior and cosy atmosphere this is the perfect spot to enjoy a great cup of coffee on your break - from shopping, most likely, because Rotterdam really is great for that! Happy 1st day of October, everyone! This past month seems to have just flown by for me and although I expect October to be crazy busy for a bunch of reasons, I really want to try and savour every moment of it. This is by far my favourite season of the year and I think there's nothing better than to just take a little break every now and then to go out and fill those lungs with crisp autumn air, mmm! Also, new season, new coat. Naturally.

For a series called Storie di Stile, sponsored by Italian beer brand Peroni, I have been asked a while ago to highlight a few of my favourite spots in Rotterdam, and also to try and find a bit of Italy in this fabulous city in the Netherlands. So, as for the Italy bit, me and my brother found this exclusive men's fashion store, Porto di Lusso, which is located just a tad outside of the city centre. The fantastic old building now has a clean, classic and calming interior that suits their "passion for luxury" and the beautiful Italian menswear collections that they present. After having pretty much worn out my black pair of Adidas 'Gazelles' over the past year - but realising these sneakers are still by far the most comfortable ánd the most versatile shoes in my collection - I recently got myself this new pair in a nice khaki green. Clearly I'm not ready to move on from this style just yet. Viva la Gazelles!

J Brand 'Sonny' jeans, Ganni v-neck sweater, Zara heeled sandals, Jimmy Choo 'Candy' bag and Ray-Ban sunglasses
I've always been more into (sometimes very) baggy jeans than I've been into skinny jeans and although I usually wear them with flat slides or sneakers I also tend to occasionally combine them with a pair of fancy heels - strappy heeled sandals, in this case. I enjoy that it doesn't really make sense. I like the contrast.
