You don't take a photograph, you make it.

Been getting a lot of questions about my 'photography process' lately, so here's what I can tell you about that! I'm not a professional photographer by any means, but I do really enjoy photography and editing. All my pictures on the blog since April (or most of them) were shot with my Canon EOS 600D. I used to take most of the pictures with a EF 50mm f/1.8 II lens, but recently moved on to the EF 50mm f/1.4 USM lens. Couldn't be happier with this one. I also occasionally use a EF 28mm 1.8 USM lens. I do not take my own outfit pictures, but other than those I shoot most images for Fash n Chips myself. As for editing, I currently work with Photoshop CS5, but may try out something new in the near future.. (any suggestions??) And that's pretty much it. Hope this answers your questions!

In the fog

(Zara coat and boots, random beanie hat, Michael Kors watch and Marc by Marc Jacobs bag)
So this is pretty much what the weekend was like over here! Lots of fog and freezing cold. But I spent most of it inside actually.. Been trying to catch up on emails and since so many of you have been sending me questions lately (by comments and email) I thought I could answer some of them in my blog posts. Not sure yet HOW.. but if you have any more questions for me feel free to ask them now :) (Though I may not reply to any questions I feel are too personal..) Oh and a big THANK YOU for all the lovely blog birthday wishes!

Fash n Chips' 1st Birthday

It's Fash n Chips' 1st birthday today! And I want to say a big THANK YOU to you all for visiting my blog and leaving me nice comments, I really appreciate it a lot :) I started my blog a year ago simply because I wanted to share my passion for fashion and film, but had no intention to make it a "personal outfits blog". However, it's the outfit posts that have actually proven to be most popular now and have gained me many new followers, especially over the last few months. So I will TRY to keep these coming and I really hope you will all continue to visit my blog! Thanks again and have a great weekend everyone :)
