Ilse de Boer for Tatler Russia May 2011

I've been in bed with a flu this week, Blogger has been down for hours and hours (or days even?) but I'm hoping next week will be better and I can come up with some nice new posts. For now I will leave you with this gorgeous editorial, shot by Bruno Dayan for Tatler Russia (May 2011) I'm loving the Couture pieces and the beautiful soft lighting! Have a lovely weekend everyone!

1920's Summer by Alexi Lubomirski

We seem to have skipped Spring this year and gone straight into summer, the weather is insanely gorgeous! I came across this beautiful 1920's inspired shoot for Vogue Germany (March 2009) and since I don't have time to come up with another post today I thought I'd share a few of these shots instead. Model is Georgina Stojiljkovic and photographer is Alexi Lubomirski.

Hello Sunshine

This song I've had in my head for days now and I thought it suited today's post quite a bit :) These pics are from an editorial in the March 2011 issue of Elle Turkey (styled by Melis Agazat and shot by photographer Tamer Yilmaz) and I can't even seem to pick a favourite look out of these 4, they're all fab! What I love is that they're actually all quite simple, but the bright colours and the fabulous statement heels make each look a total eye-catcher.

The Royal Wedding in Vogue UK (May 2011)

I'm not a particularly romantic person, but for some reason I really love red carpet and bridal gowns and I couldn't be more excited about the royal wedding coming up this month :) Vogue UK decided to dedicate an entire issue to this day and from the previews I've seen so far it looks pretty good (I adore the big wedding shoot - see pics above) Exciting also is the fact that this is the first time ever a Vogue UK issue comes with 3 different covers; Mario Testino photographed models Natalia Vodianova, Lara Stone and Freja Beha Erichsen in bridal gowns for the cover shoot (you can find a video from this shoot here) Freja's is by far my favourite (I love seeing this completely different side of her!) and I really hope I'll manage to find this one here in Holland.
