X Factor UK 2010

So, this weekend was the final of the British X Factor. I'm a fan of the show and this year Matt and Rebecca had been my favourites from the very first auditions on and with them in the final plus some fab performances from my gorgeous men Take That this was probably my favourite X Factor final ever ;) It's always fun to see how judges Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue look each week and unfortunately this year Cheryl was one big disappointment (with the exception of the week when she got rid of those hair extensions an stepped out in a gold Emilio Pucci dress) while Dannii looked more fabulous than ever. She wowed me pretty much every single show and looked amazing in a silver Jenny Packham gown in the final last night, when her act Matt Cardle was crowned the winner :)

Rebecca Ferguson impressed me a lot with both her singing and her amazing natural sense of style (here she's dressed in a burgundy strapless Giambattista Valli gown and a nude gown by Luisa Beccaria). Although she didn't win I'm sure she's going to be a huge star and I'm looking forward to seeing her rock many red carpets in the future. It was about time someone as classy as Rebecca stepped into the music industry!

Finally, (one of) my favourite Matt Cardle performance of the series! LOVE!!!

Chanel Pre-Fall 2011

While the Spring 2011 collection did not impress me as much as other Chanel collections usually do, Karl is back to wowing me with his latest collection for the label. This Pre-Fall 2011 collection consists of a warm and rich colour palette; gold, cream, navy and plum with lots of pretty detailing. The whole collection reminds me a little of all the over-the-top beautiful churches I saw in Rome last month - you just want to stare at it. Here I've posted a few looks I was most drawn too, but that weren't necessarily the most dramatic looks out of the bunch.
