Chanel Couture A/W 2015 - Behind the Scenes

[embed]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdU7gfUT6XY[/embed] I love how Chanel is giving us a behind-the scenes look of the Chanel Haute Couture Fall 2015 show that recently took place in Paris. There's such an incredible amount of time and work that goes into making a collection like this and then presenting it to the world, and seeing this makes me realise and appreciate it all the more. All the little details, from the actual clothing to the stage setup, are thought out into perfection. There are so many looks from this Haute Couture collection I personally just love as well. I already showed you some of my favourites here but I never mentioned that wedding dress suit yet, so can we please talk about this for a second? Doesn't it just blow your mind? Even if it's just for Julianne Moore this video is worth watching, btw, she's stunning. Balenciaga Resort 2016

Another Resort 2016 favourite of mine is the latest Balenciaga collection by Alexander Wang. The silk and cotton jacquard jackets actually make me like peplums again and the trouser suits all look equally stunning and wearable in my eyes. The overall collection just has a very clean and yet romantic feel to it - something, I guess, I wouldn't mind being able to say about my own wardrobe.

Haute Couture Fall 2015

Haute Couture Fall 2015 fashion week took place in Paris earlier this week and was closed by a spectacular Valentino show in Rome on Thursday evening - of which you can watch the video below. Probably my favourite show of the bunch, although it's almost not possible to pick a favourite as I was impressed by most of them, really. Once again I collected some of the looks that stood out for me here. Timeless elegance from Chanel, fantastic prints and layers from Giambattista Valli, contrasts from Dior.. In terms of originality I have to hand it to Viktor & Rolf, though, (as usual) for their "Wearable Art" collection which I thought was clever as well as incredibly beautiful.

Statement earrings

This streetstyle picture, snapped by Tommy Ton during the recent men's fashion weeks, I think is so stunning. First of all, her eyebrows look amazing. And secondly, this is the perfect example of how a gorgeous pair of statement earrings can easily take a look from casual to more dressy. Stella McCartney Resort 2016

The colourful maxi dresses are what first and most appealed to me in this Stella McCartney Resort 2016 collection. The ivory dress would in fact make a pretty good garden wedding gown and the black flowy ensemble is one I myself would wear absolutely any day. Use the prev and next buttons to navigate through the gallery above.
