The boyfriend

The boyfriend style jeans - definitely my favourite. I get questions about these kind of jeans all the time and to be honest I don't find it too easy myself to find the right fit. This new pair from Gina Tricot is one I'm really quite happy with though! It has a nice denim shade, tapered legs and is very comfy. - Anyone else having a nice long weekend?

Duster coat

(Topshop coat, Zara shoes and wool trousers, Michael Kors watch, Mulberry bag and Ray-Ban sunglasses)

I've been kind of busy lately and have barely had time to focus on my blog or to answer emails (so I do apologise if you're still waiting for a reply btw - please send reminders!) and since the weather hasn't exactly been all that reliable either I haven't had much chance to snap outfit pics. I just had to show you my new lightweight coat from Topshop though - so when the sun made a surprise appearance yesterday afternoon I was glad to quickly have my picture taken to share it. I obviously did not NEED another coat but what can I say? There's no clothing item I enjoy buying more than coats or jackets. And this lightweight spring coat is unlike any other coat I already had in my closet but it kind of had my name written all over it. I wore it with my favourite pair of wool trousers that I didn't actually expect to still be wearing at this time of the year..

The green scarf

(Burberry scarf, H&M tee, COS jeans, Zara shoes, Céline bag, Michael Kors watch and Ray-Ban sunglasses)

I am a real "scarf person", I wear them all throughout the year and love how they often tend to complete my simple outfits. I actually used to have a green scarf like this from H&M years ago but had been looking for a replacement ever since I'd worn that one out. Now I finally found this gorgeous alpaca Burberry scarf via Vestiaire Collective and I couldn't be happier with it. I am really not a fan of the classic "Burberry check scarves" but this green one is SO so good.
Btw. In case you're not familiar with the luxury resale site Vestiaire Collective - it's a website that sells pre owned fashion which is meticulously curated in their Paris office to ensure that each item sold is authentic and of the highest quality. Over 500 pieces are uploaded onto Vestiaire Collective every day with 25% of those selling within 24 hours! It truly is very addictive to be honest. Go and check it out HERE.

Blossom

(Uniqlo parka, Zara trousers, COS t-shirt, Mulberry bag, H&M shoes, Michael Kors watch and Ray-Ban sunglasses)

Can NOT get enough of the cherry blossom trees. Spring isn't exactly my favourite season (don't ask..) but this is definitely something I really love about it. I'm off to a film premiere this evening and looking forward to watching the MET Gala red carpet when I come back home tonight!

Casual and light

(Olive blazer, COS t-shirt, Zara boyfriend jeans, Converse sneakers, COS bag and bracelet and Ray-Ban sunglasses)

Basic light grey t-shirts are a MUST HAVE in my opinion. And I have quite a few of them already but always love finding more. I recently got this tee from COS and it's soo good. The fabric is not too thin (although I sometimes prefer that in summer of course) and the length and the sleeves are just perfect. Makes me so happy!
